camber kit needed w/ sportlines?
i have been thinking about getting a set of sportlines for my 2009 SS/TC. heard from someone that i might wanna get a camber adjustment kit. is it necessary? or just a 4 wheel alignment?

Definitely get an alignment, but you dont need a camber kit. Any compotent alignment tech is just gonna grind the splines off your stock bolts to get things in spec anyway, and a filed down stock bolt is gonna be stronger than a kit. Id rather run modified stock bolts than new alignment bolts

Oh, good to know! I will make note of this if I ever get sport lines.

the wear on the outer rib in hard cornering is primarily yield from the inner joint. Camber wont fix that....it is interesting that folks lower their cars and dont bother with bump steer, pretty basic and fixing it makes the car a lot nicer to drive on the street. For the camber change lowering there is no need to adjust it, and if the rack is re-positioned you probably dont need to re set toe...imagine that...
