Choose my suspension

Ok so im torn between 2 suspension options. Im gunna let it come down to the CSS net members so i can point fingers. First options SS/TC setup with bumpstops left in. From what i hear this is a very good option, Downfall not adjustable for winter. The second is the B&G coilover system, a lil more then i want to pay but still doable esp since i have to sell my old rims and exhaust system. IDK downfalls with them i have to read a little bit more.

i myself have sportlines and i love them
although what you can achieve from coilovers is so much better
cause you are able to have adjustable ride hight and dampners !!

People voting for stuff , Please let me know why. Just voting without stating an opinion does not help me at all.

IMO, adjustable is ALWAYS better if you can afford it. I'd love to lower my car even just a little bit, but the road where I live are impassable at STOCK ride height. I wouldn't have a front fascia left at all if I went with only lowering springs.

SS/TC FTW.

B&G are overpriced, people have been having issues, you likely will too, I dont like how theyve got a bolt-on end link mounting spot. If you must have coilovers, buy Ksports, virtually identical, $500 cheaper.

Wouldn't you need a spring that was shorter then stock to get the car to go lower with those?

I talked about those a good bit last year, but a few guys kept saying they either a. never made it into production or b. were never released. (for the Cobalt that is)

*Edit: nevermind, I found them. http://www.dlspeedonline.com/proddet...p?prod=2525.01

The Ground control kit replaces your stock springs, with 2.5" coilover springs and adjuster sleeves that work exactly the same way that coilovers do. They will let you go as low as your shocks/struts will allow.

Seeing as that you do not know at all how coilovers work, I strongly recommend the TC setup. Although ability to adjust is great, If you do not know what you are doing you could do far more harm than good.

The TC stuff is VERY good, it is the most properly sorted sport suspension specifically for this car, it is a direct bolt on, a **** ton cheaper than good coilovers, and you cannot **** any of your adjustable options up
