CM springs installed. pics

Installed my springs at lunch today. The car looks so much better. The sport models should have came this low from the factory. The ride is great, can't even tell there's lowering springs in it when driving. Best $180 I've spent on a mod.

Yeah, I want to get 18'' wheels eventually. my stock wheels are hammered from the previous owner and look like crap.

I thought mine would settle and was hoping they would a bit more in the rear, but they didn't.

Mine definitely dropped a lot more than I thought they would. Took like 2-3 months for them to settle a good bit.

I was looking at yyz. if they dropped a little more I would have got them, but I couldn't justify paying that much money for race parts when my car will never see a race track.

the rears settled a little after the first day, originally I could put 3 fingers between the rear tire and body, now I can get two, which is the same as the front.

now I just have to see how long the shocks and struts will last with these springs.

My fingers are small. I can fit 3 in the rear and 2 in the front.

I'm only at 4 fingers and my fingers are skinny. I really love the springs and their a great woth the Koni's and hardcore swaybar.

If you do splurge on Koni's you won't regret it.

I was 4 fingers all around stock, but I have sausage fingers LOL

I'll prob eventually go with the Fe5 stuff, since I work at a dealer and can get the stuff cheap, but I'll seriously consider konis since they are made for lowering springs.

I found some new fe5 for 275 shipped. My fe3 is rolling up on 100k miles with 7k being lowering springs and they're still holding up, so I think brand new fe5 will last.

that's about what I can get them for after sales tax. and I can order one at a time so the initial cost isn't that bad. That's what I'm doing with my supercharger parts. A gasket one week, radiator hose next week. haha

I have 70K on my car and the shocks are fine, which I was surprised about. at every oil change I'll put a rear shock off and see if they are still good. once they get weak, I'll start ordering new ones.

I replaced a set of rear Fe1s in a customer's car a few weeks ago. 100k on them. I zapped out the top bolt on the left one and the shock immediately collapsed into itself. the thing was junk.
