Cobalts wabble but they dont fall down

This has been pestering me to no end lately and I cannot seem to figure out what is the matter.
My front right wheel area is having a wobble. It happens either when you step on the gas or between 30-50mph. Then it goes away. I got an alignment done, nope still there. I switched front and rear wheels figuring maybe a wheel weight fell off, nope still there, i jacked it up and tried to wiggle the wheel to see if maybe the tie rods ends were gone, nope they're fine, and i checked the wheel bearing as well by spinning the tire. I cannot for the life of me figure out whats the matter. The car drives and handles fine, it just bothers me as its not right and i cant figure out of its a safety matter or not but im sure its just not good. Any and all help is highly appreciated!

Please help me! How can you resist this face? lol

I have the same thing happening to my '06. It feels like a little rattle or wobble @ lower speeds but I don't notice it @ medium & high speeds. But I got in a front right end bender though. Feels like something in the suspension as well. Vehicle seems to handle fine otherwise.

Check the bushings in the control arms. Make sure they aren't dried or deteriorating. Had the bushings go out in my other car and it caused a clunk sound on bumps and and wheel wobble while driving

To ck the drive shaft go in a big parking lot and crank the wheel to the left to the stop and listen for a clicking noise and do the same going right if you hear the clicking noise its a cv shaft....Or if you have a lift available have someone put you and the car up in the air and accelerate to the vibration speed and have someone experienced watch the axles for a vibration if your feeling it this bad then that would show a driveshaft wobble......The lower control arm sound like the more likely culprit seeings how cobalts are notorious with having the lower control arm bushings go out....to test you need two people-Jack up the car or use a lift-one person grab the top and bottom of the tire and pull and push in and out on the bottom of the tire while the other person watches the bushings---if they have movement you have to replace the lower control arm and just for ***** and giggles have the alignment ck'd after replacement....I highly doubt its a bearing or a tire vibration at that speed and you ruled that out when you rotated the tires.....Let me know what you find but these are the ways to ck for your problem.....

I have this same thing, but it was only after I got lowered, except it's more of a vibration, and only on turns.

Weird.

I had a bearing go on the left hand side because of Illinois terrible roads. It isn't the bearing. The car gets real loud inside when it's the bearing. I drove with a bad bearing for about a month & had it replaced & it is real quiet now. It is most likely the control are or bushing. It's really just a little rattle you hear at like 10-20 miles an hour. It still seems to handle fine though. I've never had my SS/SC lowered either.

I did get into an accident a month ago on the same side it appears to be loose or obviously bad. But the Nationwide rep, after his initial inspection has stopped answering my calls. F'n crooks. They love taking your money but not servicing after the fact. Don't beleive their motto: Nationwide is on your side!!!!!
Thanks for the advice. I need to find a good shop that knows these cars & get an estimate.
I'll update this thread & let you guys know here soon.

Isit a vibration in your steering wheel? That's what I have from about 50-70mph, but only on occasion, roughly 50% of the time. Car drives and handles fine. Sumer wheels were just put on and they are balanced fine. Inflated properly. I believe it's my intermediate steering column

No, it's only noticable when driving at very slow speeds. Sounds like a front end right side rattle.

Its loud as hell inside the car like im waiting for the car to just fall apart. If it IS in fact the control arm bushings do i have to replace the whole control arm or just the bushings? Im going up to my tuners shop ( SMG ) this week sometime ill have him go over the car with me. Control arm bushigns are cheep, ill cross my fingers on them

Also yes I am lowered sorry forgot to add that

is it only under acceleration? if so, you are experiencing axle bind from the different angle on the axle from lowering it

Its been lowered for almost 3 years

and it only happens under hard acceleration or from 35-50mph.
Also thinking about buying OTT control arm bushings if they are indeed the problem.

If therye not expensive id buy them anyways and put them in anything is an improvement over the stock ones....but usually you replace the whole control arm......
