Thats correct. Not coil bind. The Eibach deal coil area is actually sheathed to allow the coils to twist. This is a common design of progressive rate springs. They give very easily at first and get exponentially stiffer instead of linearly. Its actually a good design characteristic of performance street springs. Nice ride over little stuff, tight over big stuff.

halfcent is 100% right.

the reason it looks like there are a lot of "bound" coils is, remember, nothing really holds the spring in place other than the suspension arm. in other words, it needs to be able to drop the wheel down without losing pressure.

That is ******* hilarious. Nice job bro.

So from your experience, how much of a pain in the ass is it to drive a lowered balt?? My car seems to try and scrape the nose all the time, no matter how careful i am, even at stock height.

Those SSC springs actually look really scary.

They are short which means lot of drop.
And they have very little coil, which means they are springy as hell.

I'm liking the Tenzo-R springs. I heard they offer great lowering capabilities and ride well. Now, for struts...HMMMMMMM!

I just got done installing them. Install was a cake, the rears were done in 10 minutes and the front only took about an hour or so. At first it didn't appear to be any lower but after driving home when I got in my driveway and got out I noticed it definately lower. Rode smooth as hell, and my car drove straight as a ****! Steering wheel was dead on as well.
