I'm a say I know not alot about coilovers so the suspension people talk what you think of these?

K-sports are fine. I bet the pink ones are made in the same factory alongside the megans as well.

 

haha will you would be the first to answer So you think any k-sport would be fine I noticed they got a couple different models up on, or the same at different prices. Also If I don't like the k-sport springs that come with them could I put any lowerspring in it's place?

 

No, you'd have to order something from k-sport themselves, but i'm not sure if they offer that option. These are just chinese copies like most coilovers available, so i don't know what kind of support they have.

You can however just measure them and order some good springs from a company like Eibach or Hypercoil.

 

What company were your new springs from? Since you junked the stance springs lol

 

BC Racing. But BC is one of the companies that offers replacement springs. I'm not saying k-sport doesnt, i just don't know.

technically they're all equally shitty We just don't have any other options.

HSD/Stance and BC Racing are the only off-the-shelf coilovers that don't seem to be made by the same factory as far as i can tell. Don't expect much from coilovers that set you back less than a grand.

haha yea true and btw ive never seen or heard of the pink ones before so fyi buyer beware i have some megan prototype parts and we talked to them aout making some nicer track coilovers for us last time we were down there but i doubt it would happen

 

Get a set of stance coils and call it a day.

 

megan coils are made in the same place i'd bet money on it.

Megan coilovers are just re-branded and cheapened version of BC. On another forum I was on someone worked at a shipping and receiving dock and found a shipment from BC to Megan with the paper work that stated the container had struts and shocks inside. He had a scan of it or a pic if I recall too, but for the life of me I cannot seem to find that thread.

If your going to go with cheap coilovers go with Megan Racing. Ksport's are decent for other makes but the spring rates are not as good as the MR for the delta.

Yes they make them to different specs obviously but they are both being made by the same people... Just saying the quality is going to be similar so if you dont need a custom set-up why spend the extra money?
