I liked them for looks and they handled ok on a flat non bumpy road but for performance I didn't like them if you want good coilovers IMO you should scale car(each tire) figure out your Springs as far as weight per Tire and get shocks custom valved

Bc makes so inverted body coilovers that are ok. Kw variant 2 are the best option for coilover in terms of a affordable decent handling. Yyz and konis are the best option for handling and ride comfort no questions asked.
If money is no issue call up anze. They have an off the shelf race coilover. Big money.

I talked to John powell, he discouraged me from coilovers. so I worked out something with him. gonna get konis from zzp and ship them to powell, who will powder them black for me, cause yellow just don't work with my colors. and he will powder some yyz springs red and assemble everything and send it to me. should look sweet plus I get awesome ride and handling. best of both worlds.

If you want great adjustability definitely look more into coils. I love just taking a few hours to work out little adjustments and how big of a different it makes when starting to get the car balanced properly.
I raised mine and everybody says it rides "more" like a normal car(Full Soft no rub). Front gap is 3/4 inch rear is 1 1/4 inch, to help keep the weight transferred forward under acceleration. Which makes a big difference in my driving tests for winter driving and launching.
Tuning for the drag strip would be really nice with a good set of coils. Maybe even knock off a tenth or better when properly setup. (once heard someone put mini footballs in back springs to stiffen the rear for drags lol)
But as stated above if you want only cornering performance and consistency the yyz koni special seems the way to go.

Honestly Tom once you have the konis inside the modified strut you won't even see the yellow portion. Unless you're buying the modified strut version from Powell since he gets them powder coated to match the konis then yeah you would have yellow showing but then it's not super noticeable
