Coilovers, the decision
Ok so I've decided Koni Yellows and Eibach springs are not for me. I want adjustable dampening so i can turn things up when i go to the track. I dont want to have to take off a rear shock to adjust it like you do with the Konis. I also dont like the fact I cant fine tune my ride height. I dont want to sacrifice ride comfort the more I lower either
So what coilover setups are for me, I'm weighing BC and Stance right now, what else is out there and should I consider?

I have heard from a few people that had stance that the ride wasnt that great, they do give the lowest drop but I care more about functionality and ride quality myself. So if I had to choose between the 2 i'd prob put BC higher on my list then Stance. Just personal opinion.
with the setting on the stances to full soft they ride like a stock car........bc offers the ability of being double adjustable as where stance and hsd are single adjustable. i highley doubt you would ever use the double adjustable feature.
not to mention most guys wouldnt even know what to do with 36 way adjustable coilovers lol. i guess all im trying to say is......buy what your going to use. theres no point in buying a double adjustable coilover for extra money if your not going to use it. most guys want these for ride heigh adjustability. when you get your height set i doubt you'll be messing with it often.
in terms of them being a good product. they arent bad but they arent the best out. there are righti n the middle. i still dont see them being better then stance or hsd. pedders i heard are suppose to be great. idk i run stances.

d2 is some ebay ****
height is a very minor concern of mine, i could care less how much they drop, im even happy with stock height, i care about ride quality and being able to adjust them easily at the track

pedders and fe5 struts are for you. why bother spending an extra 500-800 unless you tend to use the coilovers adjustability? my stances ride like a stock lnf car when they are at FULL SOFT. when i start messing with them that will all go away. if you dont care about the ride height and you want an awesome handling car with good ride quality. pedders on fe5 struts end of story.
off often do you see a track? yes i read what you said. but your also not listening to what im saying. i guarentee when you finally become happy with your coilover settings your not going to touch them. hense having all that adjustability isnt going to do anything. its not like any of these coilovers your looking at are 3-4 way adjustable coilovers with mono tube chambers that can be adjusted for every little thing. if anything they are as basic as can be.
you dont care about ride height....you just want adjustability in the rebound dampening. i think you should give the pedders on stock stuff a test try at the track and see where your at.

what have u done to it lately? i roll with kyle and dustin both have wingless ss/sc i have a silver tc i was talking to darren last time i went up which was like two months ago but your car looked all waxed and slick!
Pedders Xa Coilovers!
I think I finished dialing mine in today finally.
I will be doing my writeup and how-to this weekend.
They do not drop like the stance setup does, but I chose Pedders more for performance, not looks.
However, I have them lowered as low as possible, and they look amazing.
One great thing about the Pedders is that they use a nearly identical spring rate as the ss/tc does stock, so they have very strong handling capabilities. After all, the ss/tc was titled the best handling front wheel drive car ever built, so why not copy it's features.
Even though the ss/tc handles superb stock, being lower and having less body roll (even more so enhanced by the new end links and rear sway bar) gives the car a more stable feel around corners.
Ride quality has been great. Sitting in the rear can be a tad violent, due to the fully lowered rear shocks, but all other seats have a comfy ride. 1f/1r is a cadillac. 30f/30r is a rail, and 15f/15r is stock ish.
Additionally, you seem to be looking for track assistance. When I ran at the track at 10f/10r, I felt bogged down at launch. When I changed to 20f/30r, I dropped 0.2 seconds off my time, and felt that the car just "went" at the line.
Highly recommended
Hope this helps

I like those but they may be a bit out of my range, sounds like they will do exactly what I want though
where are the adjustment knobs on those for the front and rear?

O yeah. One of my favorite things. Fronts are in the engine bay, which is the same for all. But the rears came with an adjustment extension. Supposedly you can reach thru the wheel and adjust the shocks, but that's not for me. I drilled a hole in the shock mounts in the trunk, and ran the extensions thru the new holes, then re sealed with great stuff expandi foam. It's an inch off the floor and an inch off the wall, so it's not in the way of anything.
Now I can just pop my trunk and adjust. No lifting or getting dirty required. I actually think the extensions give the adjustments a better feel too
