Ok so i replace the rear bushing on my drivers side control arm today. after the install and a quick test drive I noticed a rattle coming from the front on that side of the caras if something is loose. I went back home and rechecked all my nuts and bolts to be sure everything was secure and took it out again and got the same rattle. Its most obvious during breaking or on a bumpy road. i have a feeling it may be one of the shields for the horizontal bushing rubbing the frame but I don't feel like checking it right now.

any ideas?

 

how tight are the rear cab bolts? Need 145 ft lbs.

 

I don't have a torque wrench so I just put them on as tight as I could. I will get my hands on one asap and check it though. Thanks!

 

Also the arm to knuckle pinch bolt needs to be torqued, backed off and re torqued according to gm. 37ft lbs, back off 3/4 turn, then 37 ft lbs + 30 degrees.

 

Possible sway bar end link? I know after I replaced mine, I started to get a rattle which turned out to be the end link issues..
