I heard from a guy that its been done. Apparently you need 4 hubs, new rear drums and SS front brakes.

Used Hubs=$50 each.
New Drums=$160
Used LSJ front calipers: $80
New LSJ rotors and pads $250

I didnt include wheels because if youre thinking about a 5lug swap youre obviously thinking about new wheels anyway, not an extra expense.

Sure it would work but i dont like spacers, I dont think they are safe on the street unless you upgrade to racing wheel studs and then you still are putting extra stress on bearings, spacers are cheaper though, LOL

Sure you could that would work fine, its actually easier that way(no need to change calipers, just the bracket) but its hard to get aftermarket rotors for the 5lug LTs, and the brackets you need cost just as much as a good used or reman LSJ caliper so its really a waste unless you plan on running small wheel that the LSJ brakes wont fit in.

i just purchased new wheels and tires for my 3lt a few months ago, and now i just bought a ls coupe. im giving the 3lt to my gf to drive, but i was planning on swapping the wheels and tires.

i wonder if pepboys is capable of doing this..

what all needs to be swapped in this case? i just want to run the 16' alloys that gm gave me on my 3lt, on my ls

I wouldn't trust pep boys with a etcher sketch... I say do it yourself and impress the GF . Shouldn't be that hard

You cant swap the stuff from the LS to the LT because youll lose your ABS, PepBoys will charge you obscene amounts of money to do the swap. Think about this..... fours hubs, two front brake jobs, two rear brake jobs, and 8 hub replacements........

Just buy some 16" wheels for the LS, WAY cheaper.
