Crate engine pedder package. LSJ or LNF?

This is a thread asking for advice. i drive a 2006 cobalt ss s/c g85 w/ 51k miles. im planning on doing some suspension mods. I decided on going with pedder springs from what i researched on this site, that they seem to perform the best with minimal drop which is what im looking for. i also decided i might as well upgrade my front struts and rear shocks as well since im changing springs. fresh start. i read that FE5 LNF shocks and struts are better then the stock struts and shocks on LSJ's (05-07's). Ive been having trouble finding stock shocks and struts using the part #'s given from suspension and brake fact thread.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/susp...m4-jl9-137064/

19181043 19181044 for the struts and 25793745 for rear shock(must order 2).

the site i found a nice deal was crate engine depot.com. struts, shocks and springs for $595

Cobalt FE5 Struts and Shock with Pedder Spring Pkg TCSS - Crate Engine Depot

TCSS Cobalt FE5 Strut and Shock with Pedder Spring Package.
2008 - 2009 Turbocharged Struts and Shocks with Pedder Spring Package
Save over buying each part individually. These will fit 2005-2010 Cobalts.

I was wondering if anyone has orderd this package deal from this site and if they are actually LNF struts and shocks. i was trying to find part numbers to match up and having a little trouble with that. i was able to match the shocks #25793745 to these

Cobalt FE5 Rear Shock 2008+ 25793745 - Crate Engine Depot

Now this website sells both LNF and LSJ Shocks

I want to make sure im purchasing LNF Struts and not the same LSJ struts that i already have on my car. The struts listed on their site are :
19181251 Cobalt SS/TC FE5 Strut LH (19181044 is the number i got from CSS.net)
19181631 Cobalt SS/TC FE5 Strut RH (19181043 is the number i got from CSS.net)
Now they only sell 1 type of front strut (Left and right) im just confused. Are they LSJ or LNF. either part number for LSJ's and LNF's i got from CSS do not match the part numbers on crateenginedepot.com. I just want to be sure im buying the right package. i want LNF shocks/struts with pedders. or i would rather just keep my stock suspension. Any advice/help/sugesstions are much appreciated. thanks

what im saying is whether or not they would be better then the stock shocks i have on my ss
also how much better are they then the monroe shocks and struts i can buy or are they pretty much the same

basically whether or not they are more high performance then regular replacement shocks that i would be for my car

cool man thanks! what kind of cobalt do you have ?
i have an 05
performance upgrades alone include
injen cai
blower bored
2.7" pulley
80lb injectors
corsa sport exhaust
sway bars
camber kit
and some kind of tune im not sure which one but it redlines at 7 instead of 6500

idk why but it seems ridiculously fast and i never lose on pulls from 70-130

the funny part is that about 8 months ago i smashed a pot hole and blew out my front tire and didnt even think to have my suspension looked at and finally when i took it to the dealership he told me i blew the strut throught the strut mount and that i needed to replace both control arms as well
wanted 2 grand for all the work

so i figure with this package i should be alright
have you heard anything abut the zzp control arms or do you think i should just go with oem?

FE5 aluminum control arms are best.

What do you mean by strut mounts? Stock is fine, as long as they are not too worn.

you know its actually a funny story about 8 months ago i hit a pothole and blew out my tire got the city to pay for two new tires but didnt even think to get my suspension checked out dumb right then i noticed a knock which i mentioned to the dealer when i got my exhaust manifold gasket replaced and they told me i blew my strut through the strut mount and they wanted 2 grand to fix it (along with a new left side outer tie rod end) which i actually had replaced about 6 months ago cause the rubber housing had cracked

but it was winter and i never got around to it and im on deployment now so im basically redoing the whole suspension when i get home this summer which i hope should be fun

funny thing is i could still cut lanes at 130

but at 160+ the car started to get what felt like speed wabbles which scared me

ive owned it for almost two years got it with 50k and have put 20 thousand HARD miles on it and have never even had the slightest problem with it besides the gasket the dealer said the engine was in perfect shape go figure right?

yea man go figure thats one of the biggest problems with my car the fact i bought it at a dealership who had no idea what was done to it i didnt even realize until about 6 months after i got it and i mean the **** is just ridiculously fast i usually only take it up to about 145-150 but i had a straight stretch of highway in virginia which is probably a bad idea i probably would have gone to jail for a while if i got pulled haha but yea just as it started to go past 160 i basically started swaying back and forth it was scary

obviously retard the guy said that they were better than stock and springs are springs so that wont even make a difference might just slightly change your ride height but anything other than stock will improve your handling/ride mainly because look what your paying for it
