custom rear sway/strut bar

My Bwoody rear "strut" bar just got here and i had it powdercoated to match my rims.... pics in a bit

Cool, is it basically the same thing has the progress sway bar? Just different name? Always wondered.

no its more of a strut bar.... its just straight... connecs bottem of the strut tower... or lack thereof in the rear

Nope... basically the same thing as a front strut bar. But we dont have struts so it is technically called a rear tie bar.

acts alot like a rear sway bar though... cheaper to manufacture since its not bent

on cars such as the eclipse where its a true strut bar in the rear (itll be up in the trunk/hatch) you could do both, this is basically a diff style of sway bar

maybe but i cant because the hole where the sway normally goes... i have airbags that use that hole... so i adjusted the strut bar outwards and used the 2 holes that were further back

yeah you can do both, I have purchased both and will be installing them on Monday and will post pics up of both of them living in harmony in my rear end.
