Exclamation CV AXLE! please help

Ok I was putting H and R springs on today and everything went well until I pinched a hole in the CV boot. The CV axle was out of place because I didn't support it i guess. It only did it on the passenger side. So I pushed it back in place but it put a pinhole in the boot and it leaks. Does anyone know what I can do? Its not covered under warranty and it would be alot to have a shop replace the axle. Thanks

if its a pinhole you can clean the area up and use some silicone. ive done that before, usualy (but not always) works.

Ya replacing the boot seems like my only option if the rubber sealant i used doesn't hold. I'm just worried about how much it would cost to replace the boot. Boot is like 10 bucks but the labor is what im worried about because you have to take the whole cv axle off to replace it.

use some JB WELD its like epoxy but this is more flexive. they sell it at any autoparts store like autozone, pepboys,or kragen. just clean it up with thinner and sand it with rough sand paper, and let it dry all night. ive used this on 1/2 inch cracks and it never gave me any problems.

Can the boot be replaced without taking off the whole cv axle? Is there anyway to just take off like the half shaft?
