d2 and Megan lowering springs question

Just wanted to know if anyone has any experiences with the d2 racing lowering springs that drop 2" front and rear from jmautoracing, also the Megan lowering springs, there selling for $160 shipped. Sounds good but skeptical about drop and rode comfort. Any input welcomed. Thanks

megans are awful forget it. I got mine with 40k miles on them for $60 from a local guy. They are somewhat rusty, have hideous rear coil bind and the rear sits almost an inch higher than the front. And my back hurts from bumps in the city. Ive trained myself to avoid 100% of road imperfections when I can so its not too bad but not near stock.

I have the D2 and I like them a lot

In this photo the rear seems to sit a tad lower than normal, but the front wheels are flush with the fender

Ok thanks for the input. I checked out the ssc/cm springs but it only lowers 1" in front and .5" in rear looking for something a little lower.

thats a typo, theres a thread here that someone emailed them and they said its a 1.5" drop i just bought it from them. the drop isnt as low as the d2, but the ride is very good.

na it would be pointless lowering .5" specially when its raised more in the back.

Question to anyone: for a autox setup would 135f/150r or 240f/160r spring rates be better?

If you want to autox, get pedders or save for coils

as far as the ride on D2, it's a lot stiffer and bumpier due to the lower ride height, which is a given with pretty much all lowering springs.
