Another strut bar installed. Took my time and it took me about 20 minutes to put it in.

I went ahead and removed all 3 nuts from the passenger side strut and jacked the car up just so the tire was off the ground so the strut could float a little. Once I got the strut bar roughly in position I used a 3/8" wooden dowel and some light taps with a hammer from the passenger side to bump the strut bar all the way onto the strut studs. I ended up putting about 20 lb-ft of torque to the nuts on reinstall. But I started at 15 lb-ft and worked my way up on each one moving from one to the next between torque increases (kinda like torquing your wheel lugs).

Should be the same bolt replacement. What in the world did you torque it to (or with...might be a mis-calibrated torque wrench)??? I torqued mine to the specs in the instructions and didn't have a bit of trouble with the bolt.

Heh, I missed the part in the instructions on how much to torque them, I just used a torque wrench to take the first bolt off and it was about 15 lbs. So I just re-torqued them all at 15 lbs. when I put them back on.

That sounds painful....

Anyways, I torqued mine to 18lbs and didn't have any problems. This bar is probably the cheapest, but best money spent suspension upgrade. Granted, there are many other upgrades available, but never forget the strut bar

No worries boys figured out theweird feeling......less body roll, car doesnt feel like it's being thrown into a turn, less pressure on the outside front wheel = new feeling but better handling

Err.. this whole torque-ing thing has gotten me confused. Am I not suppose to just use "man-ual labor?"

Or am I supposed to have some power tool to do this?
