DC Strut Help

If anyone else has the DC Sport strut is it a straight bar?

Where did you order from???? I got mine from Modern Performance and it was the same as what was on their website...

All the carbon series strut bars on the site have that same looking bar. That is why we have the caption below the pictures. I hope this didnt cause any problems.

Eh mine looks like the one in the pic. Will find out if I'm one of the lucky ones that the bolts don't sheer off.

I believe I read a thread about the bolts sheering off during installation. I think it was mainly caused by not jacking the car up level and then torqing the bolts, but there were a few who were barely torqing the bolts to 18lbs and they sheered off...

I put my car on jack stands, removed all bolts(6) slid the bar into place, then had my buddie wiggle the strut from the wheel well to get it to fit fine, then tightened them down as hard as possible. Works like a charm. We fought trying to get the bolt to work for about 5min before he suggested manuvering the strut from below.

yea i didnt have to jack mine up..it was snug, but fit good
