Eibach Rear Sway Bar
Eibach Rear Sway Bar
Eibach now offers a rear sway bar seperately. It is 25mm as opposed to Progress's 22. I have already ordered mine and will be shipped to me on 12-5-07. Summit racing is the only vendor carrying it right now, but they are a very relaible vendor.

If you want your car to be stiff as hell in the back go with the Eibach.
I also noticed that they list the front swaybar as well. 27mm

Let us all know when u get this... this has been "coming soon" for a long time so it will take some hard core evidence before they trust Eibach on this one...
This says 27mm for the front.. THATS BIG...
Did you order both?

STOP EVERYTHING, read the entry for the Eibach rear bar. It states that its 25mm and HOLLOW, the Progressive bar is 22mm and solid. Also I'd not recommend the 27mm front bar. For our cars I'd suggest dropping the front bar size to minimize push under power in the corners. I installed a SS/SC 24 mm bar in the front after I installed the Progressive rear bar. I'm switching back to the stock 18mm because I had zero push under full throttle in corners.
Honestly its not a question of can we its why should we. Being front wheel drive our cars push in corners whether we like it or not. Having the rear suspention of the car stiffer than the front corrects that tendancy, I know I've done it. The Cobalt cup cars dont even run a front bar. They sleaved the rear trailing arm so they can slide whatever bar they need in depending on the track. (P.S. I'm a noob whats w3rd mean?)
