Eibach Sportline Springs question

Hey, i tried looking for a answer in the forms using search and i couldnt find anything. so please dont start flaming me for this.

Ok so heres the issue. I got my Eibach Sportline Springs installed on my 07 Cobalt SS/SC the other day. Love how it looks, love how it handles around turns. However, the beating on the highway is worring me. The question i have is, the slightest bump on the road on the highway makes the car seem like i just went over a huge pot hole at like 1000mph. But when i had the stock springs on going over the same bumps it wasnt as bad...barely noticeable. I know they are suppose to be like that but the question is, will it actualy cause damage to any part of the car? if so what do i need to get or do to prevent that?

First, upgrade to koni sturts as your stockers arent ment for the harsh lowered ride. I'd say after a long perio dof time on stock struts you may break something. But unless you are seriously beating the living **** out of it you will be fine.

Well there was a few bumps on the highway that scared the hell out of me and my friend. We were traveling back to the base and he was watching a movie on the laptop and we did the little bumps u get when u go over an overpass and it hit so hard the laptop flew off his lap. So im really worried about that. What vandors sell struts (to lazy to go look...lol)

Hold on a sec here......the way you're describing it sounds pretty brutal. I have Eibach Sportlines on my G5 GT on the stock struts and the ride is firm, but not nearly as bad as you say. Are you sure the springs are installed correctly with the "Eibach" logo facing up?

Yes. The Eibach logo should be able to be read normally.

bump! update. Havent looked at this thread in awhille. Just to update people on what was going on. The springs were installed right. Car is riding better now. Springs were new and stiff so they had to get worked in. Put about 1500km on the car since i got them (i do alot of highway driving when im on leave and head home for the weekend). But everything is good now, thx guys
