eiback sportlines on base/SS suspension

I know its a weird title. But I am upgrading my whole suspension. I have the base LS, here's what I'm doing....

FE5..........struts, rear shocks, front 24mm sway bar

eibach sportlines, rear progressive sway bar, MZR strut bar.

my question is since I will be using some SS/SC (FE5) suspension parts. will this change the amount of drop on my LS???

I don't know why the Eibachs drop the SS/SC and LS different amounts so thats why I am asking, how much should it drop my car with that set-up???

No it will not lower your car using LSJ struts. But i warn you, you should not pay for the FE5 struts if your going with the sportlines as they will wear them out and you will need new ones. Go with koni's. do it right the first time or dont do it at all, you will end up paying more for the same setup if you go with stock ss/sc struts.

^ What he said, but you should have some miles on your struts before they go. If you have the money for the Koni's now, get them. Otherwise, ride out your struts (people have reported 10,000 miles before they go, sometimes much less, but there's still SOME time) and just pick up the Koni's as soon as you can and hold on to them so when your struts go you can throw them on.

The reason that eibach lists different drops for the LS and SS when using the Sportline(or even ProKit) is because the SS is already lower than the LS.

SO since youre running stock Fe1 springs in your LS youll get the full 2" frt and 2.5"(approx) drop from the Sportlines.

the FE5 suspension is dropped lower than the FE1 suspension...i recommend going for aftermarket struts while doing the spring install...it prevents having to take it all apart again and such...

though i have had my Sportlines on for about 1k without doing struts...they are holding up pretty good so far...but i plan on struts after the turbo install.....

but you will pretty much get a 1" drop with the FE5 setup and a 2/2.5" (F&R respectively) with the FE1..

Again: To be clear, the drops listed are as compared to the stock ride height of the car
And an SS is already lower than an LS thats why it doesnt drop as much.

If you put Sportlines on an SS and on an LS with the same wheels and sit the cars next to each other they will sit at the same height.
