Front end!!

So i have gotten my control arm bushings and sway bar endlinks replaced a couple of times at the dealership. The front end would sound normal and be fine. and after each time this front end noise would come back after a week later of driving the car. if i invested in some moog sway bar endlinks and some powells Cabs would this make the noise go away? anyone had these same problems and purchased these items and the noise went away?

Need more info on the noise. There are a number of different things that could cause noise up front, especially given all the stuff you've done to the car.

Well every time i have taking it to the dealer and they replaced those parts the noise would go away for a week. so seems like that would be where the problem is coming from. basically every time i roll over a bump the front end makes a clunking sound

Probably not. If those parts are all brand new, they aren't going bad in a week.

I'd bet there is something else causing the noise, moves when they have everything out and quiets down for a bit, but then comes back because they aren't replacing the source. Check strut mounts, axles/hubs, ball joints, etc. I'd have to see the car to diagnose it properly, but it's not an endlink or CAB if it's coming back that fast with new parts.

However, bigger/better endlinks are always a nice upgrade, and real CAB's are the best investement you can make on these cars. Even if your stock ones are perfect, you should upgrade to solid ones. The difference is amazing, car feels so much more solid.

have them check ur steering rack bushings, i work at a ford dealer and alot of people trade in cobalts and g6's ive replace like 4 powersteering racks on the g6 bc the bushings were shot and making a clunking noise, i know they g6 aint the same as a cobalt/g5 but it might have the same steering rack,

but back to what ur saying about the solid bushings, i just recently purchased a cobalt and the dealer did control arm bushing on it, i want to get aluminum arms and put sold bushing in, where do u guys recommend to get sold bushing???
sorry to hyjack

The steering rack on the Cobalt bolts directly to the subframe, that's not the issue on these cars. Usually in the strut area.
