front suspension

ok. im not sure but i think my front struts are no good. when i drive and hit a pot hole it feels like if its hitting the top of the car. like a bang almost. is that the stuts. can someone help. i have ssc lowing springs on.

Check your swaybar endlinks. seems to be a common cause of front end noise.

I'm not saying that's if for sure, it's just someplace to start. Make sure everything is torqued properly, nothing overly loose etc.

before i got my cobalt, i had an s10 that was only 3 inches off the ground, and if your wheel is hitting the top of the wheel well, it would leave a mark, so check and see if there is a mark, like a scuff almost. if your hitting the wheel well, then you should look into stiffer struts, aftermarket that is.
