Future Upgrades

I am trying to figure out what parts i am going to use for the suspension and brakes of my car. So far i have progress springs and will be getting their sway bar as well. When my shocks go i will most likely throw some SS/TC replacements on it. This is a daily driver, i do not at all race my car, just the occasional spirited driving through the hills. With that said i am trying to figure out how to set up my brakes.

1) use hawk hps pads with a set of wagner rotors for the front and rear (possible ss brake lines)
2) use hawk hps pads with brembo oem replacements for front and rear (possible ss brake lines)

Now what i want to know is if the brembos would be overkill for a daily driver, as in would i notice any real braking advantages. I would assume the brembos would last longer and would be less likely to warp, but would it be worth it in the long run?

Also;
1) are there any other mods that would give me either better steering response or better braking ( i am not asking for a race car, just a more pleasant and fun dd car)
2) DO NOT TELL ME TO GET COILOVERS, I WONT, PLAIN AND SIMPLE

thanks in advance

Up to you based on price if its worth it for longer lasting more durable rotors. Obviously brakes are no place to skimp, it seems like you know that, theres nothing wromng with Wagner rotors, or even NAPA Premium USA made rotors for that matter.

Definitely get the teflon/stainless braid brake hoses if youre looking for braking improvements/upgrades. High quality lines give a better feel, easier control and are stronger/safer than stock.

GOOD tires are one of the easiest mods to do, and you WILL noticed immediate results.

Lightweight wheels offer performance advantages too, but expect to pay around $1200 for a set of good/light wheels in 5lug patterns, if youre 4lug(didnt notice) you can get the job done for around $700 without even shopping too much. stick with wheels that weigh in the "teens" for best performance.

If youre willing to deal with some noise when driving in the city or light braking, and more brake dust, there are numerous pads that offer even more sporty/aggressive stopping than HPS's do. for not much more money.

new tires are on the list, i forgot to mention that. i am still in the process of deciding what tires to get. i drive the 2.4 SS, like the wheels, and so replacing the wheels is not something im looking into at the moment.

i guess i should clarify that here in San Antonio there are a lot of hills and hard braking is a necessity. This is why i am looking at the brembos, i am under the impression that they will last longer and possibly give better braking characteristics (dissipate heat better and be less prone to warping). they are a good deal more expensive but i am willing to pay that difference if in the long run they will be safer.

i was also looking at the steering rack spacer (i think thats what it is), and was curious if that would make driving through the curves and hills of the town a smoother process?

it just seems that any other little things i could do to the car would be lost on me since my car is a daily driver (control arms, bushings, etc).

Rotors dont warp. If you can swing the brembos go for 'em otherwise a high quality blank rotor is the best bet for the budget.

The steering rack spacer is going to reduce outside edge tire wear due to aggressive driving. You probably wont notice more "precise" steering though as a daily driver.
