G5 to get rear independent suspension!

i was reading this post from GMI

Good stuff, I wish I could find more info on this and how this differs from our suspesion because i am a neewbe at knowing the differences in suspensions

i did a quick spec comparison between the canadian and the states G5 sites. (the states one is not a full site) and i think this only affects the lower models, the GT one has (appears to be) the same sport tuned suspension

thats my guess

Uh thats really beat. Also that means the trunk will be really small.

**** if they GT or what ever is the high end model gets a fully independent set up i'll be pissed.

that would help out handleing quite a bit.

It might be an upgrade for the base models? the ss/na and the pursuit gt already have front independant and rear semi-independant suspension

semi-indi is FAR FAR differant the fully-indi my friend...

better then our crap rear end but still not what i think this car needs to have.

If this is true, and a big if as i don't see why they'd put it in the pursuit and not the Cobalt SS, i will be finding the first pursuit do be in a head on collision and swaping that **** over.
