Gauging interest in some large brakes

Anyone interested in some 13" front brake rotors (2 piece) with adaptor brackets to adapt your stock calipers to the larger rotors? I contacted a company that has the brackets designed and made but needs orders to do the rotors.. Post here if you are!

Totally, you would get all the benefits of a large brake kit without the hassel, plus the 2 piece rotors wont warp like the stockers and the 13" fits fine under our stock wheels.

Additionally later on he might have an upgrade kit to offer 4 piston caliper upgrade using Wilwood calipers

Is this just for the fronts only or are they also trying to make something work for the rears?

Right now fronts only but if we get enough interest rears are possible.

SS_SC_Cobalt, Jbodyperformance is coming out with a BIG brake upgrade front and back.
I was the official test and design car. I can tell you the kit looks awesome. Biggest brakes I have ever seen on a car. Extreme quality parts too.

Contact are supporting vendor JBP for more details.

That's quite a bit.....the SSBC front kit can be had for like $900....including calipers and everything else.....I'd be all for seeing a fixed mount kit(i.e. 4 piston kit)

Remember tho, these are 2 piece rotors not 1 piece like baer std kit or SSBC
save a bit of weight over 1 piece.....

baer charges $200 more for eradispeed 2pce rotors each so $400 more for the 2 piece upgrade

when you figure that in typical 2piece rotors are around $550-600 pr then add $100 for the brackets and hardware, doesnt seem so bad

Dont know exactly and dont have pics. All I know is the brakes are HUGE and the engineer that worked on the design and testing of the kit is a Genius. Wont reveal any sources but he is a world renowned Brake builder expert.

Contact Mev at JBP for more details.

From the horses mouth!

This kit is the 2 piece slotted/drilled plated rotors with the relocation brackets and fasteners. $425 plus shipping !

I can make up a 4 piston caliper kit to go on the rotor. A complete kit would run approx $1200.

I asked about the possibility of a 13" 4 piston front brake kit group buy!

In order to do any group buy I would need at least 10 people, then I could sell the kits for $975 each.

Anyone interested>?

the brackets are pretty uninteresting, the rotors are 2 piece and he doesnt have them drilled yet, they are done on an order basis.

here is a pic of the rotor off a j-body, same thing just drilled differently

since they are 2 piece very good the rotor blanks are made by wilwood, so you will be able to get them no problem
