gm rotors
I have to have my rotors replaced on my car cause ive had my car in three times now for a brake pulsation. i had parts give me the part numbers for the rotors and the new factory rotors are slotted and cross drilled. so if you ever have to get your rotors replaced the new rotors from gm are all slotted and cross drilled you cant get anything but them. there the same rotors on crate engine depot.

they have the backs aswell.
the thing is i think you gotta purchase those if they replace the fronts, im just gonna wait till next year and do it all 4 rotors with new pads and call it a day.

The regular rotors still exist it's just that GM's computer lists the sets to make it look like the right choice.
The brake system RPO for the SS/SC is JL9.
The GM system lists it like this:
- Rotor Front with rear disc (JL9)
- Rotor Front with rear disc (LSJ) SS model
Most dealers immediatly assume that they can't go wrong with the second set and order them, meanwhile they should have ordered the first option.
I myself am glad they screwed up because I now have front and rear GM D&S rotors for a total cost of $200.
