yours is the ss 2.4, there diff on the ss/sc i beleive, because the dark blue ones drop less than the red ones and my cars lower than yours, i highly do not recommend the red ones for ss/sc

They both have the same ride height.

slownlow 10-10-2008 04:06 PM

so if the ones made for the ss/sc lower the same as the race ones, i assume the non race ones ride better and it lowers the same?

same ride height now, maybe, but stock the SC is a bit lower. The ride on the reds is nice, a mild micro tiny bit bouncy on rough/sharp bumps but nothing harsh.

the main difference is the spring rate between the two. I am not 100% on the amount of drop though. the website says 2.0''-1.6'' for the reds and 1.5''-1.4'' for the blues

zackss 10-10-2008 04:12 PM

dammit!!!! i have the dark blue one's and my rear end is riding stock height

it will not go down even close to the pictured cobalt

i'm pissed and will go snap a quick photo

killah_thug08 10-10-2008 04:19 PM

No, it looks lower because of the lip kit.

Wow how mis informed u are... If u took a base LS, LT, ss/na, ss/sc and ss/tc and put the same spring on all the cars, the ride height would be exactly the same, only difference would be the body kit making the sc and tc look lower, but the ground to fender clearance will be the same.... Just saying

07MetallicSC 06-25-2011 07:40 PM

Check your rear springs. Should have .2 at the end for the ss/SC. If not its the non SC model
