Handbraking
Handbraking
Does anyone know if ripping the ebrake on dry pavement will mess up ur rear suspension? I only have done it on ice and in deep snow, but i wanted to make sure its only tearing up tires and brakes.... how strong is the rear suspension to take the abuse of 180's lol
Don't think the handbrake will actually lock the tires in pavement, at least not with the rear disc brakes - they barely hold the car on level ground. Got to be the worst I have experienced
That being said, the rear suspension on these cars looks pretty spindley to me but I could say the same of most fwd cars.
Make sure you are not trying this on a public road please, don't need anyone else giving Cobalts a bad rep with the local police

I got drums FTW lol. And i have a friend who always rips the e-brake in parking lots and skids. I have locked up my car, all 4 tires on several occasions. But i thought it messed up the alignment. Thanks, and no i go to closed warehouses and in dark areas
