Have a few questions about suspension and lowering, help?
Hey i'm new to the forums, i own a black cobalt sedan and would like to lower it. I have seen that 2 in front and 2.5 in back looks really good and wanted to know how that rides? I also would like to know what to go with so i dont buy anything super low grade thats gonna break haha. I'm new to this so bare with me. Also where would i get my shocks installed?

I've had Eibach springs on a couple different cars and they seemed to do well for what was asked of them and were durable enough. I've only used Tokico shocks but I've read on here that people use Koni's, Bilstein or Tein and have had good luck, so I guess a lot of it is just preference. If you're just driving around, you may or may not need fully adjustable ones. I prefer them so if I'm driving around town and turn a lot I can stiffen them up for better cornering, or if I'm going on a trip and is mostly highway driving, I can soften them for a better ride.
for the sedans they say B&G has the best drop with durability. I asked a local pep boys if they would install mine and they have a specialist there for it. So i guess it just depends
I've had the Eibach Sportline's (2"F 2.5"R) for a whole lot of miles on FE5 struts. Its been so long I can't remember but I'd guess about 40,000 miles I've had them. Seemed to ride ok to me. They are "appearance" springs so if you want them for the look, I'd recommend them.
As for a handling spring I'd recommend something else like Pedders or Eibachs Pro-Kit. Currently I'm reworking my suspension for road racing next spring so I'm removing my Sportlines.
