Hitting A Pebble

I know this has probably been discussed b4 but what can I do to get rid of the stiffness in the car?
It's ridiculous... every time i go over the slightest imperfection in the road it feels like my transmission is gonna fall out like an anvil!
Even when drive over a grain of sand i can feel it in the car! Any info on what I can do to have a smoother ride would be great! Thanks all!

Of course if you get 2.2 springs your handling will be hurt. I have the SS/SC springs on and I like them alot.

I put 2.2 springs on my 2.4. Generally driving is still slightly stiff but majority of bumps are softened. The handling was effected, but a just a little, steering is a little looser feeling thats about it, but then again I haven't pushed it around corners like I did with the stock springs

Hell, my SS/SC IS a family car and I love it. Can't complain about feeling the road, thats what you paid for, IMO.

To get rid of the stiffness you have to drive to Wisconsin and trade me for my car.
