i have a 2007 cobalt LS i have it fully built and added a custom turbo kit making 350whp and 380tq
i am constantly breaking axels, im also slammed on Stance GR+ coilovers and i have yet to take a locking ring out to get the stanced look that im soon going for.
i was told the TTR STOP mounts would help prevent this but TTR has replied and told me these will not fit my car.
anyone have ideas to what can help prevent axel braking?

This is how you get better acceleration in a FWD car, but it also puts a ton of stress on your axles.
So, long story short, TurboTechRacing is correct. What you want to do is get some high horsepower axles. It's the only way you're going to prevent breakage. Also take into consideration where the axles attach to the transmission (spline count). If that is weak, you can have the strongest axles in the world, the amount of torque you're putting down will tear them right out of the transmission under hard launches.
Welcome to the world of drag racing. One mod gets you horsepower but means you need more mods, lol.
I broke axles ONLY AFTER putting mounts on.
it depends on the reason you're breaking axles if you're breaking them due to axle bind then rotated mounts can help
same price as zzp's minus shipping.. just make sure you get the new ones... not the refurbished ones

the one i broke the most is the drivers side and thats a napa being replaced 4 times, my drives side axle has broken last weekend and it was stock with 130,000km on it

You have to email Gloria, the sales lady at gloria@powellraceshop.com she will take good care of you and answer any questions you have. With the power your making I would suggest the stage 2 mounts, just make sure you specify F23 mounts. Your a 5-speed right?
edit: saw your VB garage, you are. I highly suggest these and definitely think they will sure your axle breaking problem. BTW awesome car you got right there!

he can either not slam his car, and put the power down.
he can slam his car and burn through axles.
he can slam his car, get with powell and get mounts to raise the drive train and put the power down.

Rotated mounts bring the front of the tranny down, and the rear up to help align the tranny with the hubs to keep the axles strait and free of bind. Poly mount don't really do anything except vibe your teeth loose.
