Cheaper route???
Sportlines= $250
Sprint, Progress, Zenn, Gold Line, Tenzo-R, K-Sport, #1, Canuck Motorsports, Road Magnet = UNDER $250 (most around the $150 range)
Sportlines are the MOST expensive spring out there for our cars. Maybe your trying to say your not going coilovers, but not many Cobalt owners go that route.......most guys just go springs.

Sportlines provide a nice drop and all, but for handling, I wouldnt say they're all that great. I chose Sportlines b/c I daily drive my car and I dont want a harsh ride. But after driving friend's cars (driven an Integra, an STI and a Mustang GT w/ coilovers) w/ full coilover setups, my car feels like a wild west wagon, lol.

lol, yeah, but no adjustability I had ST springs on my RX-7, and later switched to $1,100 Tein Super Streets, and they were well worth it for the track. If your gonna track the car, you're gonna need coilovers for dampening adjustability to be competitive. That, or springs + adjustable shocks, like the Koni's. But springs + Konis= about the same price as coilovers.
Ground Control coilovers are sleeve and spring style, not a full coilover, and offer height adjustability, but no dampening adjustability. But they're only $400 vs. $1,000 for the K-Sports, B+Gs, KWs, etc etc. So basically, for an extra $150 over Sportlines you can have height adjustability, which is a nice thing to have, b/c its not always fun being low. Just a thought.

I love my SSC (Superior Spot Chassis) springs. You can get them from ZZP or Cobalt Addiciton for like $160ish. They are cheaper, handle great, and ride better a lot better than Sportlines will as I have had a set of Sportlines on my old Z24 and currently have them on my Integra. Check my gallery for pitcures of the car with and without the springs. It's obvious which ones are with and without the springs.

I just attempted to buy some from Cobalt Performance Parts, but got screwed. Thank god for PayPal. Anyways, I know that Modern Performance (supporting vendor) has the cheapest sportlines ($219).
