Angry I installed OTTP steering rack spacers and now my car pulls to the right.

I installed my pedders on saturday but I could not find my 18 mm socket for the steering rack. So today I isntalled my steering rack spacers and torqued them to 80 ftlbs. But now my car wants to turn right ever so slightly when my wheel is straight. If I let the car drive free without my hand on the wheel the wheel turns ever so slightly to the left but the car tracks straight forward.

The car did not pull prior to the rack spacers.

I know I need an alignment, I just wanna make sure I did not jack up the steering rack spacer install.

Actually, as long as you do one bolt at a time, you should not have affected your alignment too much, unless it was screwed up before you put the spacers in. You will change the toe, but it shouldn't make it pull left or right.

I haven't installed mine yet, but I can't see it being too difficult. Get the alignment, then report back broski.

FML that is what I did wrong, I did both bolts at the same time, Will a simple alignment fix this?

Yes it will fix it.

I had to turn my steering wheel like 45* to the left to go straight it was funny

Alignment fixed that no problem

he said when the wheel is straight. when installing the rack spacers and removal of both bolts it will shift the steering wheel in one direction to head straight. simple alignment will fix it. you could actually do it yourself if you wanted. its only toe that has to be adjusted
