I wanna slam?
I wanna slam?
So I am ordering one of the two springs tomorrow but I wanted opinions from people that have slammed their balts to see what would be better......Kpro springs that do a 1" frop in front and 1.3" in back or tenzo R's which do 2" drop in the front and 2.5" in the back? Let me know what you guys think from experience I feel like an inch isnt enough but two inches might be too much lol. thanks fellas!
The K-pro's listing your reading is the drop for an SS/SC or SS/SC. The Tenzo's listing your reading is the drop for a 2.2. All springs are interchangeable on Cobalts.......but spring manufacturers will list a different drop for the 2.2 than the rest of the Cobalts simply b/c a 2.2 sits higher stock than the other Cobalts, therefore, even if equipped with the same lowering spring as a SS/SC, its overall drop will be more, but the two cars will end up having the same ride height. The 2.2 will just have a larger drop over stock. So those two springs probally have the same, or a very similar drop. My friend has K-Sport springs on his SS/SC and his car is LOW. Def a better drop than my Sportlines. But still not "slammed". If you want slammed, bag it. Or maybe go the route of coilovers.
Word. If you want an idea of what a Cobalt looks like with the K-Sport kontrol pros installed, looked up Bad05SS. Thats my friend Chase's '05 SS/SC with them installed. He might have some pics in his user gallery.
