I got a Progress sway bars from THMotorsport good deal. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/supp...hnique-295521/ Don't get me wrong everyone is gonna say Powell sway bar they have great products but I just can't justifying spending over 300 buck for one I'm on a budget lol
I've got a Powell hardcore swaybar and love it. Message Powell and ask about getting either the hardcore or XXX rear swaybar. As long as you have an SS there is no need to touch the front swaybar besides adding new endlinks.
I was able to buy my swaybar used for $200 shipped, so if you don't want to spend the money on a new one look in the classifieds or even post a wanted add.
The reason most people will recommend Powell's products is because they are the best you can get.

Assuming you have a boosted 2.2 balt (from your sig) have you considered using a SS/TC front sway bar? I used a TC sway bar when I did my front sway bar swap.
If I can recall correctly the LS is 18mm and the TC swaybar is 24mm.
I think CED has some pretty good prices on them.

Too big, you'll turn the wheel, car will go straight, unless you're on wide slicks, and at that point you'll have power steering failure.
LNF front bar, Powell rear bar, street, hardcore, XXX, base it on your driving style. Power Grid endlinks, and you'll be set.

Good point the advantage of the Powell over the Progress bar is probably minimal and not worth twice the money
The Powell bars are built with race proven expertise, and tested extensively on the delta platform specifically. They are also made of chromoly, and will never distort or bend.
You get what you pay for, it is not a minimal advantage.
I've personally seen completely snapped eibach bars and springs. I dont trust anything Eibach for the cobalt. The SS/SC bar is 24mm and the SS/TC bar is 23mm. You need to consider what your suspension set up is before purchasing either. If you are going FE5 conversion you HAVE to get a TC bar or stay with the stock one in the front. I currently am having contact issues with the sway and control arms on the SC bar.
As for the rear Progress and Whiteline make fairly good bars for the average driver. Some bars ARE hollow, not sure if those fall into that catagory, but I would assume the larger ones do (this will definitely be your problem with the Eibach). The advantage to the Powell bar is that they are high quality full steel bars that are custom formed and to tantalize your eyes they will powder coat in any color.

Why do you think they sell them at Advance Auto parts?
The Powell Bars are not really as heavy as appear to be, they are hollow tubes.
If you're not road racing your car go with the Hardcore. The Triple X is kind of assy on stock shocks where the Hardcore is a great match for the stock rear shocks. I had mine for close to 2 years I think. It worked very well.
Go with Powell bar... if your going to buy it once you might as well pay a little more and get the best. The difference isn't minimal its between breaking eibach or having a quality bar. Don't cheap out. I've seen eibachs lowing springs and sway bars break. Oh and front sway isn't needed as already covered

And you will get exactly what you pay for. A cheaply built mass produced bar that won't work as well, nor last as long.

trying to prioritize! But thanks so much for all of the input and information guys :cssNet:
Because he wants to go from a dying auto to a manual swap and since he's there he might as well get the F40 conversion kit to make it all easier.
The swap should go flawlessly...
Please note I NEVER use sarcasm in my posts
