I've read that there the same suspension and drivetrain. So wouldn't this 04 redline axle make a interchange replacement for a cobalt ss?

Is it a lower bracket for the springs and or shocks? I'd be re-using fe-5 or cobalt ss shocks and springs.

the only thing you will find i expect is the integral weld in bar may be is a different diameter all the other parts are 100% compatible...but the bar may be the same i can check Monday or maybe Maven will know when he checks back in from christmas dinner he cant stay away for long.... checked the sticky they are the same go for it (unless its a TC thats different (24 mm bar compared to 22mm))

if it is bent then there is a lot else wrong with it. dont bother to fix it. we do cut out the bar and weld in chrome moly tubes for racing but to do that you need a true part to start with, and the end result we make is adjsutable as it all moves around a lot when you weld it. as the twistingbeam twists its important to start with a good part... we have made tubular bars with insertable tubes and we have made pivoting adjustable internal tubular bars, but they dont work theyneed to be welded both ends. thesimplest andbest is an add on bar, chrome moly 1.25 od mandrel bent bolt on. vendors also sell solid ones bolt on its easy

Aftermaket rear sway bars bolt in. There are two holes on each side already in the rear suspension that provide the attaching points.
