Any body have the JBP strut tower brace at all? Just curious as to what your thoughts on it are.

UM...that looks like the ends are going to break off if you put a finger on it. And those welds? What's up with those. The design is alright but the craftsmenship blows. That looks WAY SHITTY to me, doesn't look like it will handle any type of torque or sway, and it's way too expensive for something that looks like it was made in the middle of the night...with no lights on.

Here are the pics from the site. The welds are gross. You get what you pay for.

Ive had it for a while, love it. it stiffened the up quite nicely, and I like the way it look more then the DC Sports one. but thats just a matter of taste.
I can post a pic of what it looks like installed, when I get home.

but it is definetly strong, once you have it in your hands you'll see that right away, the pics don't do it any justice.

Performance first, looks second IMO. Was going to get the CA bar but I think I'm going to check out the JBP bar now. The fact that they're in Canada is damn sweet too.

Don't get the CA Brace. I had one on my 02' eclipse and it's junk. Way too many connections that loosen up after a couple days. The black paint where the brace connects to the strut mount just falls off after tightening and it just keeps chipping. Not to mention that part of the brace is weak. Very cheap IMO!

Not happy..

My strut bar from them is terrible workman ship with the welds. Mine has weld splatter on it which is not good, the bar is pretty tho but the welds suck. With weld splatter this can cause corrosion and moisture build up which can be less strength and possible rust. I am currently in school for Nondestructive testing and quality control, which we inspect welds, pipes and all materials using visual, mag partical, radiation X-ray, penetrant and ultrasonic, also eddy current inspection techniques. This peice is easy just looking at it with the weld splatter being very visable. Any questions contact me, I will be posting some pics and a ignorent e-mail from JBP soon as possilbe

i have the strut bar, i really like it in comparison to the dc sports... looks and strength. having had both, i stuck with the JBP one because of ease of installation and the added strength over the DC sports bar.

i like the DC better, its cheaper, and does the same thing.

Whats up with JBP and that ugly ass label they make, and they always have some ugly ass welds.
