KW Suspension News

In an email I received today, Tom Edge, a spokesman at KW Automotive, confirmed that a suspension package for the Cobalt has finished testing and was coming "in the next couple of months once pricing had been determined"
He said that the kit in question was installed on a Cobalt featured on "Tuner Transformation",
a show on The Speed Channel.

nice, I'm guessing its the Variant 1 coilover system...I think those kits go for around $1000ish.

i just want simple shocks already, you would think shocks would come out before a full coil over

KW isn't as good as Koni, but they are still a good product. I know a few people that have used KW Coilovers in the Neon community and they have never had anything but good things to say about them. I have been waiting for this news for a while actually. I will definitely be getting a set

your comparing kw, which has a fully adjustable coilover setup, to koni's which specializes in shocks and struts. 2 different things. KW's shocks/struts that come w/ there coilovers, if you get the V2 are comparable to Koni's, Actually stiffer than Koni's.

How easy are these to adjust? I know my friend had Konis with the knobs to adjust them, it was real quick and easy. I don't want something that's going to be a pain in the ass to adjust every time I want to change the setup (i.e. before and after auto-x and during track events).

RK Sport / KW Coil overs

RK Sport has penned a deal with KW to distribute their suspension products here in the US.

The first units for the Cobalt / Ion will be available through us.

ETA for these is currenty the end of March.

Once some solid info comes our way this forum will be the first to know.

The test kit was a V3 Coilover, according to KW peeps. I'm guessing the "V" stands for Variant? No pics yet, either. They will fit ALL models.
