anyone ever heard about KYB GR-2 Struts/Shocks?

 

i have them....and i cant really tell if there better then stock because my drop is so low on zenn lowering springs. Its seems to be stiffer, but quality is ok.

 

i got a blown strut so im thinking of replacing all 4
wanted to go for tc struts but i cant afford them now

do you have rubbing issues when people ride on the back seat?

 

i would personally go with the tc shocks...they are probably better. i actually have kyb excels....its only been a week and it rides kinda eh. wish i got tc shocks considering everyone talks about them like there gold....and no i dont rub amazingly.

 

They came stock on my 04 Nissan Sentra. I have an extra new set, but I don't think they fit cobalts.

Sorry to bumb a kind of out of date thread but I was wondering the same thing? Has anyone ever heard of these? I have a leaky strut(visibly can see oil) and I found some for cheaper then what I can get at the local autoparts store.

 

I had them when I had my 95 talon esi. I had no complaints.

 

Ok good. Not that its a deciding factor but any changes in driving? Feel smoother handle better etc.

 

I put them on a grand am gt and they worked just fine on the lowered car so I not like they are bad shocks just not High Performance shocks!

No thats shouldnt be a problem. But what I would do before a Prokit is just get SS supercharged or Turbocharged springs off someone here the drop will be very close to the same.

 

they seem to be made better or the same as OEM they are replacements, just a hair stiffer. If you want replacements for a fe3/5 this will do. Anything under that is a slight improvement in stiffness
