coilovers are well worth the extra money....ask 1badblueberrysc...he rides in my car all the time; so he knows how it handles...plus he has my old tenzo springs on his car...and when he gets the ss/tc guess what his first mod will be?......there's no comparison between springs and coilovers.....

1k posts woot!!! took me long enough...i've only been on the site over 2 years lmao

That's why I love mine. Took my father in law for a ride to the autoparts store when his car died, got there and was like....

"Can you tell the car is lowered almost 3 inches?"

He asked me when the hell I did that. Couldn't feel the difference at all.

****...does not look like they have anything for an 09 TC ???

Cobalt SS Supercharged 2005-up Sport Spring 22 1.5 1.4 50735-2 $329.00
Cobalt,
Cobalt SS 2005-up Sport Spring not supercharged 1.5 1.4 50735 $329.00
Race Spring 40, not supercharged 2.0 1.6 50735-88 $329.00
My cobalt you cannot even tell its lowered on H&Rs, did not give up ride quality one bit. companied with koni yellows, dc strut bar, progress rear swaybar, and floorbar and my bridgestone potenza pole positions on lighter aftermarket wheels the car handles like a train on a track. NO body roll what soever, AWESOME ride, no comfort lost, GREAT stance when parked, Cannot be anymore happier with my setup.

And to the ingalls being the best mod, try getting TTR motor mount and CA poly trans mounts in billet housings, I could launch from redline and get no wheel hop what soever, that is the best setup ive come across for getting rid of wheel hop. And yes there are vibes but you have to give to gain. make sense?

I don't really like my sportlines. If I wasn't shooting for coilovers in the spring I'd ditch them for the H&R race springs.

Unless you're comparing ride comfort or something, the Sportlines actually drop more than the H&Rs.

Straight from the Eibach website

Selected Year: 2008 / Make: CHEVROLET
Model: Cobalt

SPORTLINE KIT - (F)2.0 in (R)2.5 in Part #4.9938

Straight from the H&R website

Applications. 2008 Buick / Chevrolet / GMC / Hummer Cobalt

Race Spring (not supercharged) - (F)2.0 (R)1.6 Part #50735-88

So I really don't know what the hell you guys are talking, that the H&R drops more.

I've owned TWO sets of sportlines and they drop 1"F and 1.3"R. Maybe they changed thier sportline kit to be lower now???? Either way I have an 09TC so I don't think H&R has anything for me. I better call em today and ask to make sure. Think I'll call Eibach and do the same.

Figured it out.....Eibachs website says "lowering amount varies by application"

Some are significant yes but if you look up an 08 TC it's only offering the Pro Kit at 0.0"F and 0.5"R "minimal lowering due to lower factory ride heights"

They don't even show an application on thier website for 09 Cobalts

09 cobalts can use the same springs as every other Cobalt.

You can mix and match springs to your hearts content. **** you could put stock 2005 LS springs in an 09 TC if you really wanted

I could confuse and anger half(all?) the people here by telling you that all Cobalts actually have the EXACT same ride height stock. But that would be mean...I wont do that.

Is TurboTechRacing an authorized Eibach dealer?

..Because Eibach is offering 10% off their lowering kits bought from authorized dealers.

Wow.....did you go out of your way to look that up????

But that just proves horses dont like it, I mean he killed the dude, that right sends the message "I am not enjoying myself, dont do this to me again"

I stand by my ride height statement.

Does it really take 5 pages to list all the springs available and their drops? This must have discussed seventyteen times

LOL....I would have asked the same thing. Nope....I used to live there and my aunt works at the hospital where it happened. Big beasteality ring for years going on. The guy was hurt so his buddies drove him to the hospital....shoved him out at the emergency enterance with massive interal and external bleeding....and drove off! ha ha ha Not all the specific nasty details made the news but it was pretty sick. People from all over the country were traveling there to get fucked by this horse LOL sorry guys.....off topic.
