well this really isnt a performance tech question but it all depends on the springs you get.. if your thinkin they will be really stiff then your thinkin bout a full coilover set. just springs wont be all that stiff.

If you want a stiff ride for a cheap price, buy some used SS/SC springs.

i feel every piece of gravel.... but that might just be my springs, the eibachs might be a bit softer, and the eibachs with the smallest amount of drop would be your best bet. that would be a decent ride.

I don't. Not yet at least. I think by the end of the year I'll have them though. I just bought some cheap used front struts so I can have minimal downtime on my car when I install them.

My sportlines ride fine. Its the 35 profile tires I run on my 19"s that make the ride a bit rough.

I'm riding on the Eibach Sportlines and the ride isn't rough or bouncy at all. It's just a bit stiffer. The car feels more connected to the road, basically. It's the best money I've spent on my Cobalt so far.

If you don't want a rough ride, get coilovers with adjustable firmness...

ps. moved to suspension
