Yes, any aftermarket springs for an SS/SC will fit an SS/TC. In fact, any spring will fit any model Cobalt, regardless of the trim or year.

IIRC, all Cobalt suspension parts are interchangeable. Springs I know are for sure.

New shocks will not change your ride height. They will only change how stiff your ride is, and depending on the shocks/struts you choose, your ability to adjust the dampening settings.

And bump stops are what prevent your shocks/struts from bottoming out into your car. You need to trim them when you lower your car since your shocks/struts will sit closer to the bump stops after you lower it. Only trim them as much as the aftermarket spring manufacturer advises you to. And cutting/trimming them will not effect your ride height or lower your car anymore.

Shocks won't lower the car anymore. It's safe to cut the bumpstops, but I would only do it if necessary or the directions say so, but I don't think it is necessary. Tenzo's drop it sooo much, may I ask why you want it lower?
