almost anything with a drop will probably need rack spacers. you dont HAVE to use em, and the bump steer is okay. but if you track your car, i would suggest the rack spacers. i dont have them on my redline, and the car was slammed on shitty cm springs and blown shocks and struts haha, and the bump steer is def there, but controllable.
bump steer happens when the car is lowered and the result is the steering rack arms are moved up at the outboard tie rod as the car is lowered. Therefor, as you go over bumps the tie rod moves up even more, and causes the car to self steer in that direction momentarily.
raise the rack the tie rods will be back to stock position and all good
sport lines suck imho Pedders are the best....

damn i knew thats what everyone was going to say! wheres whyyoumadson he would know what to do but hed still say peddar springs i just want a little drop with no rack spacers and not have huge bump steer! or then again how hard is it to actually put the rack spacers in help me out peoples!
I've had my Pedders in almost a month now. Love every minute of them. I have the rack spacers...in a box...I never installed them and have had zero issues thus far. No bump steer to speak of.
Nope no spacers. Because everyone that has used them and has a Auto. Says that the steering rack will hit the trans.
I haven't noticed any difference in steering that i had with my pro kit. And i'm 2 inches lower then it was stock.

i'm on eibach pro's and they handle really nice but they only have a mild drop, i also have rack spacers and moog swaybar end links on too so that helped the handling a lot as well...
the wheel gap here is better than stock but i still wish i was lower

I love my sportlines, Feels no different then the *hitty ride the stock suspension offers anyway. And I was gonna get rack spacers but Im not getting bump steer so i said forget it.
The ride is a little stiffer then the Pro-Kit springs i had before. But it's not a harsh ride.
I'm also using FE5 Shocks and Struts.
the rack spacers are so easy.. there's 2 bolts that hold the steering rack, just loosen and do one at a time and slide the spacer in and then put the bolt back in and tighten it down.. took me maybe 5 minutes tops... well this is if you're a manual because i dont think they have enough room to fit on automatics

There all in the $200 range and all have a good drop. No springs are gonna ride good when you hits bumps. rack spacers are a personal choice. Most people dont run them because there not getting bump steer. As for me Im not getting bump steer so I didnt get them.

Im on pro kits.
After having rode in a sportline car finally... Im glad I have my prokits.
But with that said at some point in the future I will be swapping my pro kits off for pedders.
