I felt like my car handled better on the stock springs vs the pedders and it rode a whole lot better on the stock springs as well. If I had not sold the car within 6 months of putting the pedders on I would have gone back to stock. I just rode in a lowered SS/TC with I believe SSC springs and it rode really well considering how low it was it rode tons better than my SS/TC did on pedders that is for sure.

Indeed, I honestly hardly noticed a difference when I installed my SSC Springs (CM). I know that there are some though that might disagree.

Get h&r springs...I think they drop the car the most without buying coilovers

Well, B&G drop more, but yeah...

I don't think too many people use them anymore, and for good reason.

I don't think the pro kit lowers the car much if I'm not mistaken

they are 145 on ebay and claim a 1.4" front/2.0" rear drop.

I am on CM springs and the ride is amazingly stockish. LOVE THEM but i hate that they are 26.25 in the rear and 25.75 in the front on 225 40 18's

The only thing I can come to conclude after reading all this is my springs are one of the best DD springs and have a nice balance of ride and performance. If I want to get lower on springs they have to ride like crap. I want v.2 yyz because they are the most engineered for our cars but would ride the same height as my CM's.

Anyone cut the rear buckets out and lower them an inch to maintain ride quality but keep a larger spring. Also moving the shock mounts up an inch gains the suspension movement back.

dude if you want to go lower, there's only one way. It's coils or nothing. Don't half ass start welding and cutting ****, it'll never be as good as you want it to. Just get coils and as uncomfortable as some may be, the handling kicks ass and being low is cooler because you know; stance makes her dance.

i wont pull the trigger until i ride in one thats on coils. Not going to waste 1000 bucks on a crap ride just for the look. I would rather spend that money on Koni, Powell V2 springs, hardcore bar and have a real drivers car.

Pretty sure the FE5 out handles coilovers, at least at the price most people pay for them on here.

also i have welded and built my own suspensions on several trucks and jeeps. I would do it right not a hack job. But we shall see. Maybe I will be the first. I come from forums where fabrication is part of the fun. Everyone here seems to want off the shelf stuff. No takes the time to make something just want to bolt and go. Sad really. There is a whole world opened up of modding when you make stuff yourself. Would like to hear Powell on this. I am sure he has already looked into this.

everything out handles coil overs, even the expensive one cant think of their brand right now. Problem is the delta platform is crap for coilover design, aftermarket is limited. The best is Powell then stock TC for a drivers car.

I'm in the same boat as you myself- I'm on CM springs and they aren't quuiiiiteee low enough for my liking. However any measure of going lower will result in worse handling

Sometimes I wish I got H&R's instead.

i thought about it but then you are in the same boat. H&R wont allow the suspension in the rear to work as it should and will not drive or perform as well. It will look good but you wont have the proper geometry for driving and just overall ride quality. I think modding the rear buckets or spindles is the way to go. The fronts are easy just shorter springs and you should still be fine for travel.

C130, If You get Koni then Your Car may sit lower than Your Stock Struts. Cause Stock Struts are holding up Your Springs. Koni is adjustable and there is a way to get Your sit lower with Koni Struts on Your CM Springs right now.

This may surprise You, I am running Stock Struts on CM Springs with 225/40/18. My Car has sit lower through out the year. I noticed My Car has drop half inches or more.
