lowest springs for ss/tc
depends what you want... low drop good handling..... low drop with poor handling i would go with h&r springs as the drop is very nice imho....powell yyz for best handling/ride around town little drop. pedders are similar to stock rates when at full compression but give you a little more drop. and will be comfortable for street driving.
I'm not exactly sure of the specs. But here's a side shot so you can see the wheel gap a lot better. If you're on stock tires and wheels it should look the same as this.

Mine aren't the smoothest either, but you have to sacrifice something to get the look sometimes.
I got mine from another member on here last year around this time. I know Tirerack.com carries them and you could probably find them on Ebay too. Just be careful b/c H&R makes two different versions of the sport spring. One for the TC or SC and one for the base model. No idea why they would do that but they did.

The race ones are supposedly even lower yet but I've never heard of anyone having them.
You'll be looking for the H&R sport springs for and SS/TC. If it were me, I'd just go on Tirerack.com, type in the make-model-year and such of your car and then go to the suspension section. They should be on there for like $230.
Here's the link.

ok man thanks.... I am just wanting to do this once not get a set and not like them and wanna get a different set i wanna be satified with what i get the first time and not spend a bunch of money! i have always had srt4's so not really familiar with the cobalts
I'm Not 100% certain but, I think Tenzo-R GT II's give you the the lowest drop for a spring. They drop 2.5(2.7" after settling) rear 2.75(2.9" after settling) pic below both my cars are on these springs I listed. Only way you can get the springs now is second hand. They are not made anymore.

I hear ya. I got pretty lucky with one and was able to snag them off another member for about half price. They were used but it really didn't matter. I think if you go through that Tirerack link you'll be set.
omg, common' guys...there is a thread on this already, but the ARK gt-f or the B&g springs have the lowest drop by far on here. I have the H&R sports, and it ison top of the tire in the front and 2 finger+ gap in the rear. I have an 08 ss/tc on stock struts. The ones i said have the same front but only 1 finger gap in the rear....gl
topics been covered many times before H&R are low and I get asked a lot if I'm on coilovers...
add B&G's to the rear and it will be even rears like a finger maybe 2 gap my fronts aren't a finger, maybe 2 cards
their bumpy but not as bad as B&G's
