LS help?

I have a cobalt LS and i want to be able to make it through the winter with my car but i want it to sit like an SS. how low should i go to sit like an SS?

you can always buy used ss springs, but with the different wheels and lip kit the SS will always seem lower.

Base to SS
1" in the front and 1.5" in the back

Base to Aftermarket springs
2" in the front and 2.5" in the back

how can you say that, every aftermarket spring is diffrent

count on about a 3/4 inch drop all the way around, it makes a huge diffrence though in handling

I'm assuming he's getting lowering springs

Racing springs would be different

Majority of lowering springs are that

What halfj said. SS springs don't give a big appearance difference, but the handling is much, much better.

I have an LS with SS springs now. It DOES lower your car about an inch so it doesnt look so boat-ish. THe handling increase, but the ride is a little bumpier. Find some in the classified forum on here. I did...got em for 70 bucks !
