Lug Conversion

I have a 06lt and was planning on building it to a race-ready car. . . Now, can the 4 lug setup I currently have handle about 300hp and hard cornering for long periods of time. Keep in mind that I will have custom lugs; however, I’m still not sure if only 4 will do the job. ANY input will help.
