my cobalt ss front end bottoming out

Hey guys, i just bought some new tein springs for my supercharged cobalt, at first i thought it was bottoming out due to bad struts, now that i have new struts, it still bottoms out. Can it be soft springs? I just have no clue, any ideas guys?

IIRC tein springs have the worst coil bind in the rear, so I can only assume equal **** quality in the front.

So your actually bottom out the shocks? ya probably soft springs. Does the ride feel bouncy like an old cadillac?

no, its not bouncy at all, it just doesnt absorb shock. I hit any bump, and it feels like i have no front suspension

I spoke with the dealer, they said that a supercharged cobalt is heavier due to the supercharger and components and that requires springs with high spring rate. dont know what that really means but, ok?

you running spacers on your bolt? if so, did you need extended bolts and fender rolling to get that nice flush look?

I've never seen that kind of coil bind before. Also the dealer didn't sound helpful at all

What do you guys think about Megan coilovers? I can get them for $880 installed. they have 32 adjustments in ride and hight adjustments. Any one got any feed back on these?

For $700 you should buy 100% METHs Pedders and Konis. Then you'll enjoy the best setup

^^^ this just do it. The wt of the supercharger has absolutely nothing to do about anything. Tiens are a "misguided" spring at best.

stock springs dontcoil bind. pedders only bind on the race track at the front.

all aftermarket springs currently available have less rate than stock TC . The TC spring is awesome, just trims too high.

Most folks want drop and cheap. U get what you pay for.

the pedders ride effin' nice... but they are deff softer in front no doubt, you'll easily hit the bumpstops, or coilbind or whatever happens, if you hit a big bump but OMG does it handle awesome...
