Need Help-Sportlines.

Hey guys the holidaysa re coming up soon and i was thinking of getting sportlines for Christmas but i have a few questions. #1 i know that struts are recommended but how long will it be until i need to replace them? #2 Is there anything else that could possibly go wrong with my car if i do indeed lower it? Sorry im new to the suspension world besides basics and any and all help is appreciated. Just want to make my car look better.

With Sportlines or any lowering spring, it truly depends on the roads you drive on regularly. One thing for certain is one day your stock struts/shocks will go. There are tried and tested combos for everything. If you are going for merely looks, then picking up a set of Sportlines and Steering rack spacers (helps with bump steer which you will be acquainted with after lowering) and every xx,xxx amount of miles when your struts and/or shocks blow out you can just replace them with stock or aftermarket. If you are going for handling and a nice drop then the best setup is the FE5 (SS/TC stock struts/shocks) + Pedders SportRyder Springs and a set of steering rack spacers. That setup has been known to improve handling greatly. Good luck.
