Need new brake set up, help please!

Ok so basically my rotors warped for the second time now and I need new ones again. I wanted to just get all new pads, rotors and probably a new brake line as well. Can you guys help me out recommending some? im not doing racing or anything crazy but I would like a good quality product. I had a big problem with rusting on my last rotors so are slotted better for not rusting or is there nothing you can do about that? Also is it just inevitable for rotors to warp or do they make better ones that are less prone to doing this? Thanks guys! any other question Ill answer!

bump

when i had to replace my rear rotors i got them from crateenginedepot.com and they've been good for quite a few months now. as far as pads i went with hawk hps pads for both front and back and i couldnt be happier. they're near silent and the very slight amount of dust they leave is grey in color so my rims dont look filthy after driving for 20 minutes like the stock pads did. and as far as brake lines go... id say check out the vendors here

GM rotors are just fine, its the pads that sorta suck and cause issues. Better pads reduce rust buildup on the braking surface, higher quality rotors dont rust as quickly or in the same manner as cheaper ones.(usually, Ive had good luck with some random over-the-counter chinese rotors in the past) but they all rust eventually. No rotors dont warp by themselves, and its unlikely you even warped yours.

Hawk pads, GM or DBA, or USA made aftermarket rotors (Napa premium, some Centric pieces, etc)

Goodridge brake hoses.

pulsation is almost never caused by wapring. Its caused by uneven buildup of brake material and rust on the rotor.

ok, so Im gonna go with Hawk pads but what ones are better the HP's or the HPS's? also I have no idea what to do for rotors, they were warped and Id like to get a really good rotor that hopefully will not warp again, oh and also are the stainless steel brakelines worth the money? Thanks!

HPS for the street, HP Plus is a bit overkill and noisy for most people.

I am pretty sure we already discussed rotors just a few posts ago

Brake hoses are an excellent upgrade, and imo well worth the money, I recommend and use Goodridge.

Hmm, you have deposit problems just from driving on the street? That should never happen with a decent pad, like the ones Maven mentioned. I wouldn't do HP+ though. SQEEEEEAL with big brakes. Honestly, you should have no problem with Hawk Ceramics or HPS (though I favor the Ceramics for a purely street application).

Warren

I'd get the cheapest GD rotors you can find, but that's me :-)

thats heat checking happens when you put them on, they are fabulous PFC rotors and last forever, but heat chcking you will get if you are hard on your brakes...I dont get heat checking on mine....hard to know what really happens and BTW MY BAD i did not send Josh and sean the 1.25 thread bolts. So blame me, the next go round if I do it I will make sure I trial fit everything and to a "how to" To a certain extent we are all responsible because I expect everyone to have a " custom fit" mentality. Finaly these brakes just like you have Omni have run Koni Challnge for like 5 years no problem....
