Thumbs up New BC Coilovers

Ok so some of you may know or read about my K-sport coilover failure last week. so i have moved onto the BC coilovers. Not sure how many people have these on here but have read some good reviews about them. So i just got them today fed ex( a day late cause they screwed up but thats another story). but they look like a very well put together product. seem alot beafier than the k=sports and the adjustment knobs are in a better location. so hopefully they are alot better than the k-sport. but once i get them in. i will let everyone know how they are. here is some pics of them just out of the box. so any thought or questions let'em rip

Beautiful. A buddy of mine here has them and I like them a lot, they seem to have better road manners than k-sports.

well it is all installed today. i havent gotten to drive it just yet or adjust the height. it was sleeting/ snowing and raining on me while i was doing this. so driving condtions were not good and just want to get it installed. so right now it is like stock setting as height. im back to a 4x4 look. lol

but i will say that this system is alot better quality than the last to coilover systems i have had. and everything fit perfect. love the damping control in the back. really easy to get too. but once i get to drive it, i will post up and hopefully on a good weather day i can adjust the height on it and get lowered.

well guys i did take for a drive tonight and let me tell you the ride was night and day between these and ksport. i have it at the standard setting( halfway) and the height right now is at about stock. didnt have time and weather was real **** to mess with that. just needed to get car back on the road. but back to quick review. the car seemed to handle bumps in the road very well. not to harsh. pretty close to stock ride. i will play with the damping once i get a chance and height setting. my ride home later was real icy and **** so could get a good idea on anything. going ona long highway drive tomorrow so i will see how she handels the highway. but i will keep updating as i go along.

but i would definitly recommend these coilovers over K-sport and KW variant 1 coilovers. i had both

Welcome to the BC coilover club haha

I have the ones that MODERNPERFORMANCE brought to CSS over 2 years ago.

What spring rates did yours come with?

If you call BC Coilover's office in Florida, you can get every part individually for a great price, and they even offer stiffer spring rates.

thats cool thanks man, i got the ones from modern also. they are 448 and 224. they ride real nice. happy with the ride right now. just need to adjust the height. im sitting like a 4x4. just waiting for alittle beter weather.

but what sucks right now is do to my problem w/ ksport. when they broke it ripped my axel boot and have grease all over the inside of the tire back of the brake. im freakin pissed. now i hope i can find the problem w/ the boot and fix it.

Just upgrade to ZZP or OTTP stg1 axles

$225.00 for both.

ZZP has 20-30 dollar ground shipping
OTTP has 40-60 dollar ground shipping

good choice, I have bc coilovers to, have been running them for about 60k now with zero issues. although I recommend never upgrading your front sway bar. you will bend the bracket on the coilover for the endlink.

That bracket broke on me once! after 40k of hard cyn driving.

I called up BC coilover and they sent me a new bracket free of charge.

I installed the stock endlinks, and havn't had an issue since.
